Learning Spanish in Spain

I'm embarking on another language trip- a language holiday to Spain.

I love learning languages and to learn in the country where the language is spoken is great.

Learning a language in the chosen country is not always straight forward. Sometimes, actually more often than not, the natives would quite like to practice their English, with a native- me! I can't blame them, most British people abroad struggle with the language, some do not even try. So I can't blame the waiter, the accommodation owner, even the friendly folk in the street who I ask for directions (in their language). It's a good opportunity for them to practice.

However it is my goal to learn the language. So on this language holiday I'll be having a mix of one to one skype classes mixed with meeting native speakers, reading, watching Television and films in Spanish and some good old language books.

Oh, and it will be 31C on the day I arrive. Must remember to pack suncream, along with my language notes!
